Simply put, to be a medicine woman is to engage in the work of bringing balance and harmony in the path of reclaiming personal power.

Rediscover your sense of self through her connection to ancestral traditions. Embracing this wisdom allows you to face life's challenges with inner strength.

The Wounding Makes The Medicine
There's this little personal bunny trail I want to take you down for a minute....
The best healers have pretty deep wounds. These wounds become the call to healing.
It might be the lightening strike in the Andes, a health condition or mental condition (sometimes referred to as Shaman's sickness) ...
this wounding- and the core of the wound is trauma. In many circles, the medicine man or woman or Shaman -- must answer the call to be healer -- or he/she will go crazy or die.
And while that myth can't be proven, it's pretty heavy -right?
To integrate the trauma, the healer must go on a journey within, and face her demons, and learn to incorporate them into her own energetic and physical self.
This is the medicine. This is the healing.
This is the hero's journey of movie and myth.
Without moving through the trauma, there can be no healer.
To me, the modern medicine woman - represents a guide who will support you as you step into your own healing path. She will be fully equipped with the tools, training and equipment (handed down from generations) you'll need to complete your epic quest.
Without judgment.
She will stand by your side with her light to help guide you through the darkness, the muck, and when you feel you might fail.
She knows you can do it.
