The Half Smile Technique
A mindfulness tool that helps decrease anxiety simply by doing a half-smile. Your body will interpret the smile and begin to override your mood. This is called facial feedback. This is a proven technique that takes advantage of our ability to trick our mind into a better mood. How? Start to smile with your lips, until you feel a little bit of tension on corner of lips. Practice until you can hold the smile for 10 minutes.
