Herbal Autumn Equinox Tea Blend Recipe

What better way to celebrate the balance of the fall equinox than with a soothing cup of Autumn Equinox herbal tea?

This blend is designed to reflect the harmony of the season, combining warming and cooling herbs to match the transition between summer and autumn.

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon dried chamomile (for calm and relaxation)

1 tablespoon dried peppermint (to cool and refresh)

1 tablespoon dried cinnamon chips (to warm and ground)

1 tablespoon dried orange peel (for brightness and balance)

1 teaspoon dried ginger (for warmth and renewal)

1 teaspoon dried fennel seeds (for digestion and harmony)

Instructions:

Mix all the herbs together in a bowl. Store the blend in an airtight container for future use.

To prepare the tea, add 1 tablespoon of the blend to 8 ounces of boiling water. Let steep for 5-7 minutes, then strain.

Sip slowly, savoring the flavors and reflecting on the balance of light and darkness in your life.

Symbolism of the Blend:

This tea celebrates the interplay between warmth (cinnamon, ginger) and coolness (peppermint), representing the shifting weather. The chamomile brings calm, while the orange peel adds a touch of brightness—reminding us to find light even as the days grow shorter.
