Sad Day (The Blues) Tea Recipe

Sad Day Tea Recipe Sorrow Blues

The Blues Tea Recipe | A Tea for a Sad Day

Here's one of my favorite tea recipes for sad days. This is a spin on an old recipe for combating the blues. It just feels like a warm hug in mug. Grab your herbs, your tea pot, a cup and a blanket. Brew this sad ay tea, snuggle into your favorite spot and read or listen to something soul soothing while you sip your tea.

Reflection:

In the hush of dawn, where shadows sigh, A melancholic whisper stirs the sky.

Gray clouds gather, heavy with yesterdays, Casting a veil on the light that plays.

Silent streets where laughter danced, Now echo with dreams that fate has chanced.

A gentle breeze carries the weight of loss, Like memories drifting, a tempest tossed.

The sun peeks through, but the warmth feels shy, As if the world itself mourns a goodbye.

Petals fall from blossoms that once bloomed bright, A tapestry woven with threads of twilight.

Upon the lake, a rippling tear, Mirrors the heart's unuttered fear.

Nature weeps in a symphony deep, While the world pauses, respecting the grief we keep.

Yet in this sorrow, a seed is sown, From shadows of sadness, strength is grown.

For every dark hour shall yield to the light, And even the heaviest heart finds its flight.

The Recipe:

1 teaspoon organic Damiana leaf

1 teaspoon organic dried Rosehips

1 teaspoon Cacao Nibs

1 teaspoon organic Chamomile flowers or Passionflower

1/2 - 1 teaspoon Mint

1/2 - 1 teaspoon organic Hawthorn Berries

Blend together, take a teaspoon or two and put into a tea ball, teapot with strainer, or however you infuse your teas in warm/hot water.

Steep for 3-5 minutes and enjoy.
